Description
Wat Pha Tak Suea is the temple for meditation and where the Buddha’s relics was stored on 2 April 2007.
Feature
The beautiful scenery of Khong riverside, the chapel, and Buddha cave is very interesting.
History
Wat Pha Tak Suea is on the top of the hill where the scenery is very beautiful. Down to the cliff, there is the river flowing from Laos to meet the Khong River that cause the beautiful highland. In the temple, visitor can walk along the cliff to enjoy the nature and relaxing atmosphere. Besides, Wat Sri Mongkhol or Wat Tham Phiang Din is located 7 kilometers far from the temple; it is believed that this hole was the exit where the Naga came out from Khong River. Tourists are allowed to visit the cave.
