History
King Prasatthong built Wat Chaiwatthanaram in 1630 to commemorate the mother's birthplace and to commemorate his reign. This is a popular art of the temple, so it has an architecture include Pra Prang Si Ratana Mahathat which located in the middle of the members of prang eight directions.
Assumed originally in Prang Presidential is enshrined the relics. The temple is on the east side of the prang. The statue is a Buddha image prang Marn Wichai, sandstone and at the base of the north side, there are 3 foundations of the pagoda, set in the shape of a statue of Prince Kung , Chao Sangwan and Chao Nim, the queen of King Boromakot.
Today is a deserted temple. There are also large pagoda and pagoda in the corner and the shape is still very good.
