KOSUMPEE FOREST PARK
Hua Khwang Kosum Phisai Maha Sarakham
0 Points ( 0 Review )
Description
Kosamphi Forest Park was established in 1976 and covers 50 acres of tree-shaded land. The park is home to different types of large trees such as Yang (rubber trees), Thai crape myrtle (Lagerstroemia floribunda) and Kadam (Anthocephaluschinensis), their branches creating a continuous canopy. A natural pond completes the beautiful surroundings. In addition, there is white water located in the Chi River which passes through the northern and eastern parts of the park, where shallow, wide areas of the river cause rapids to emerge. Animals such as crab-eating macaques also call the park their home. To get there, from Maha Sarakham town, take Highway No. 208 for 28 kilometers. At Kosum Phisai Intersection, take the paved asphalt road and continue for approximately 450 meters to reach the park.
