Description
Tad Ton Waterfall is a waterfall with streams flowing along a wide stone patio into cliffs. From the parking lot, you can walk to the waterfall just 500 meters. Above the waterfall, it is an area where most visitors choose to play in the water. If you do not want to play in the water. There are pavilions and benches for you to enjoy the view of the waterfall. Tad Ton Waterfall looks most beautiful from June to September. Moreover, there is another interesting waterfall named Pha Aiang Waterfall with the streams flowing down to the rocky cliffs, located in Ban Chi Long Nua which you can reach by along Highway 2159 Chaiyaphum - Nong Bua Daen. You can park your car in the parking area and walk to the waterfall only 800 meters.
Feature
Tad Ton National Park is a tourist attraction well-known among Chaiyaphum locals and foreigners. There are a lot of visitors throughout the year, especially during Songkran festival and New Year holidays, or during the festivals, since it is not far from the city and transportation is quite convenient, allowing visitors to be able to take a one-day trip. Comfortable lodges are also available with several restaurants. Most visitors choose to visit and play in the water Tad Ton Waterfall where they can have a picnic around the streams under the shady trees.
History
Tad Ton National Park is about 6 meters high and 50 meters wide, located in the north of Chaiyaphum with the geological features including limestone and shale, especially a large stone patio at Tad Tan Waterfall. Tad Ton Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall near the National Park Office, which is particularly splendid during the rainy season with water flowing throughout the year. The streams flow from the top of the waterfall through two rocky shores with shady trees. The place is suitable for relaxing and playing in the water.
